A good tip: Buford Highway has a long stretch of Indian restaurants packed tight, but a few spots like Ravagh Persian Grill (which also offers great Indian food) are perfect if you want something less touristy.

If you’re visiting in cooler months, nothing beats warming up with a steaming cup of masala chai paired with samosas from Vivek’s Cafe. Trust me, it’s one of those local little pleasures that doesn’t always make the guidebooks but definitely should.
