Chris was so attentive to my every wish and he gave excellent advice and recommendations. Oh, the food was good…. nothing to write home about, but the variety of sauces enhanced the flavors of the food!
Excellent beach quality seafood. I was skeptical at first but the fried shrimp basket was excellent and brought me straight to the gulf coast. The service was excellent and the porch was very nice. They also have a great drink selection. Highly recommend!
Excellent customer at a restaurant that was very clean. All of the food was very good but what stood out to me was that food was actually hot and just lukewarm like most places in Metro Atlanta. The shrimp and scallop platter was made just right as was the spinach. I recommend giving them a try.
We dined here on a Tuesday evening. The place was busy but we were greeted and seated promptly. We have driven by this place so many times and finally decided to try it. We were happy we did. For starter we selected one of the sides, Beer Battered Onion Rings, crispy and tasty. My main course, from the starters section, Shrimp Quesadilla; well prepared and plenty to fill you up. My dining companion ordered the Baked White Fish accompanied with the Jalapeño Hush Puppies; he was very happy with his selection. For dessert, the Fiddler Bread Pudding, that was yummy! We will definitely patronize this establishment again.
Hark! Pray, attend to the chronicle of "Six Feet Under Pub and Fish House", a name suggestive of the grave, yet providing some spirited resurrection! One does not haunt this establishment in pursuit of a culinary epiphany to baffle the saints. Nay! One retreats to the terrace for the "Happy Hour," where the breeze is as cool as a widow’s glance and the Macallan performing its rightful duty. While the world descends into its customary madness, one sits with a tray of bivalves and a glass of peat-stained glory, convinced, if only for a fleeting moment, that the universe have finally made a sensible decree. The oysters possess a far more persuasive character when the air mingles with the fading sun. My Lady, a woman of discerning constitution, found herself rather impressed with the snack offerings. It is a testament to the house that it can satisfy both the grim resolve of the whiskey drinker and the delicate nibblings of the social grazer. Should one wager one's entire time on a full dinner here? Perhaps not. But for the trifecta of potent spirits, chilled mollusks, and the smug sensation of having secured the finest seat in the parish while having great conversations with your partner, the house earns its copper!
